Roundcube

Install an HTML email signature

R

Roundcube is the webmail used by most cPanel hosting accounts, and by many Plesk accounts. Paste the HTML source into the identity editor.

  1. Copy the signature code

Download your HTML signature file from your company signature page. Open it in a plain text editor: Notepad on Windows, or TextEdit set to plain text on Mac (Format → Make Plain Text). Select all and copy the code.

  2. Open Identities

    1. Log in to webmail (often https://yourdomain.com/webmail, or cPanel → Email Accounts → Check Email) and open Roundcube.
    2. Go to Settings.
    3. Click Identities and select the identity you send from.
  3. Paste as an HTML signature

    1. Tick HTML signature so the rich editor appears.
    2. Click the Source or <> button in the editor toolbar.
    3. Paste your HTML, confirm, then click Save.
  4. Compose in HTML

Go to Settings → Preferences → Composing Messages and set Compose HTML messages to always. Set the signature to be added automatically, then send a test.

Some hosts label Roundcube as “Webmail” only. The Identities path is the same.
