-
Create a blank signature in Gmail
- Sign in to Gmail on a computer.
- Click the Settings gear at the top right, then See all settings.
- On the General tab, scroll to Signature.
- Click + Create new and name it Work signature.
-
Copy the signature as it looks
Download your HTML signature file from your company signature page.
- Open the file in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Leave Safari for this step. It can change the formatting when you copy.
- Click the signature, select all with Ctrl+A (Windows) or Cmd+A (Mac), then copy with Ctrl+C or Cmd+C.
Copy the signature as it looks. If you paste the raw code into a normal signature box, the email will show the code instead of the design.
-
Paste into Gmail
- Click inside the Gmail signature box and paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.
- Under Signature defaults, choose Work signature for new emails, and for replies and forwards if you want it there. Gmail will not add it until you do.
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click Save Changes.
- Start a new email to check images and links.
