Outlook on Android

Install an HTML email signature

The Outlook app on Android has no HTML signature field, and it often drops images. Install the full signature on a computer if you need the logo. Text and links can still be pasted into the app.

  1. Get the signature into an email

Install it first in new Outlook, Outlook for Mac or Thunderbird. Send yourself an email that includes the signature.

  2. Copy it on your phone

Open that email in the Outlook app. Press and hold the signature, drag the handles so the whole signature is selected, then tap Copy.

  3. Paste into settings

    1. Tap your profile icon, then the settings gear.
    2. Tap Signature for that account, clear the default text, then press and hold to paste.
    3. Go back to save, then compose a test email.

This phone signature is separate from Outlook on a computer. If the logo disappears, send from the computer or from Outlook on the web.
